Accounts Executive

Responsibilities:

  • Handle daily accounting operations (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & General Ledger), month-end closing reports, and assist with audits and tax.
  • Maintain, prepare, and monitor AR/AP aging reports; follow up on payments, issue statements of account monthly, and send reminder emails as needed.
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and external auditors.
  • Prepare reports required for Service Tax submissions.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely, complying with tax and financial regulations. Properly file, label, and keep all accounting records and documents for future reference.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, SAP).
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
