A financial services company in Selangor seeks an experienced accountant to manage clients’ full sets of accounts, prepare financial statements and perform audit fieldwork. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or degree in accounting or finance, along with 1-3 years' experience in an audit firm. Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL and Xero is preferred. The role emphasizes attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines, with advantages for those who are fluent in English and Bahasa.
Handle clients’ full set of accounts from source documents to financial statements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts for clients.
Perform audit fieldwork for clients, including vouching, testing and audit documentation.
Prepare audited financial statements and related schedules for the Auditors.
Liaise with clients, auditors and tax agents.
Ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS/MPERS) and Companies Act 2016.
Maintain proper filing and documentation for audit and accounting purposes.
