Qualifications

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review of monthly management account and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant statutory requirements and financial standards (e.g., MPERS or MFRS or IFRS, etc).
  • Prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts, including variance analysis and provide financial insights.
  • Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, intercompany and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including review of tax computations and submissions.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Enhance internal control systems and continuously improve financial processes and policies.
  • Assist in the creation of new processes and system implementation, including automation projects.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Perform all other related assignments or ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certificate CPA, ACCA, CMA is a plus.
  • At least 6 years of working experience in finance and accounting; experience in brokerage, financial services or fintech will be a plus.
  • Proven experience in managing or leading a small finance team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and familiar with accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Take initiative, ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, meticulous, highly organized, team player.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
