Job summary

A food development company located in Selangor is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will provide support with daily accounting tasks, manage financial records, process transactions, and ensure accuracy in accounting operations. Ideal candidates should possess a diploma in accounting or a relevant certificate, and have 1-2 years of relevant experience, alongside strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting operations including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
• Assist in monthly closing activities such as journal entries and account reconciliations.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of SQL

Experience with AutoCount

Familiarity with MYOB

Proficient in QuickBooks

Strong numerical accuracy

Good communication skills

Education

SPM or any relevant certificate

Diploma or Certificate in Accounting
