Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the filling of documents, control the document movement and storage of documents.
  • Carry out assignment as identified by the Senior Finance Executive / Finance Executive.
  • Code cost center, general ledger (GL) and tax code for manual Requisition for Payment / Invoice submitted by user.
  • Park accounting journal entries into SAP accounting system.
  • Liaise with operation on the submission of their report and completeness of the supporting documents.
  • Prepare Inter‑Company Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, Balance Sheet analysis.
  • Prepare Standard Tax Schedule (STS).
  • Assist in key‑in budget data as assigned by UTI Finance Executive or Senior Finance Executive.
  • Attend to all the queries from operation and UTI customers and attend operation daily problem, give suggestion, highlight inconsistency and solve the problems. This include verify the genuineness of the customer complaint and highlight the matters to Finance Assistant Manager or Finance Manager.
Qualifications
  • Possess a professional accounting qualification or a recognized Degree in Accountancy.
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Able to lead, manage and supervise the accountant function of a team of accounting staff.
  • Able to work under tight deadline or pressure.
  • Able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Possess good written and communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
