About the role

As an Accounts Assistant at JSC CORPORATE ADVISORY PLT, you will provide comprehensive accounting and administrative support to our small and medium size business clients. This full-time position is based in Taman Johor Jaya, Johor Bahru, Johor, where you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and supporting the smooth daily operations of our clients' businesses.

What you’ll be doing
  • Handle general bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, bank reconciliations, journal entry, preparation of accounting schedules, and accounts payable/receivable processing.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, such as profit and loss reports and balance sheets.
  • Assist the accounting team with filing, documentation, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Provide financial analysis support to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather and organize financial data.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting software.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.
What we’re looking for
  • Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, CAT, LCCI, or ACCA in Accounting or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in bookkeeping or an accounts‑assistant role, preferably in a small practice or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Autocount or Bukku.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A team player with a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
