A leading recruitment agency in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Accounting & Tax Associate to manage client accounts and ensure timely delivery of quality services. Responsibilities include handling full sets of accounts, preparing financial reports, and managing GST reporting. The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience, or fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcomed, with a requirement of Mandarin proficiency to support clients.
Monitor the time frame and work progress to ensure timely delivery of quality services to clients.
Manage the portfolio of clients assigned by developing and maintaining good client relationship.
Handle full set of accounts including reconciliation, receivables, payables, and month/year-end closing
Preparation of financial reports and analysis, preparation of yearly financial statements
Prepare audit schedules and liaise with our clients’ auditors in order to facilitate the audit process
Provide guidance and solutions to clients on a consultancy basis.
Highlight issues and provide potential solutions as well as presenting reports to clients.
Attend exit meeting to present financial statements, highlighting issues and tax computation to client.
Handle GST reporting. Preparation of tax computations and filing of Tax returns
