Responsibilities

  • Manage financial reporting accuracy and timely processing of client information.
  • Perform bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Conduct payroll reconciliations.
  • Review and approve account classifications.
  • Review G/L for missing transactions.
  • Prepare initial/draft Management Reporting monthly.
  • Manage A/R, A/P, and Payroll processes.
  • Review Sales and Service Tax reports for RMCD.

Job description

Responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting for firm’s FAO clients. This position will be responsible for adhering to accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements. This position will need to work on a multitude of accounting activities, including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, year-end client tax and audit projects, and the support of budget and forecast activities.

Will have contact with clients and client contacts, including the client’s tax accountant and other professional service providers.

For Senior position minimum 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities
  • Overall day-to-day management of financial reporting accuracy and on-time processing of client information.
  • Bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Payroll reconciliations.
  • Review and approval of account classifications.
  • Review of G/L for any missing transactions and overall accuracy.
  • Preparation of initial/draft Management Reporting each month, for review by Supervisor.
  • Manage the A/R, A/P and Payroll processes.
  • Review of Sales and Service Tax and other reports for preparation to Royal Malaysian Custom Department ("RMCD").
Requirements
  • Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of accounting software preferred.
  • Competent written and spoken English language communication.
  • Possess analytical and critical thinking.
  • High literacy in office application (Microsoft Word, Excel and etc).
  • Annual Dinner.
