Job summary

Deloitte in Malaysia is seeking an Associate/Senior Associate in Business Process Solutions (Accounting) to deliver high-quality financial reporting and advisory services. You will prepare and reconcile accounts, support audits, and contribute to budgeting and regulatory compliance while leveraging SAP Finance and automation tools.

The role requires strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin as a plus, and a track record in accounting within a professional services context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification (ACCA/MIA/MICPA).
• Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
• Mandarin skills are an added advantage.
• Experience in professional services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts in accordance with MFRS, including AP and AR.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations, maintain fixed assets register, and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and schedules for external audits.
• Compile and provide financial information for tax agents and external auditors.
• Prepare annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and financial projections.
• Manage and advise on e-Invoice implementation and submission processes.
• Leverage automation tools to improve operational efficiency and support finance engagements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with standards and policies.
