Job summary

SOTC Play & Development Sdn Bhd in Negeri Sembilan is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our finance team. You will handle a full set of accounts and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting.

Responsibilities include monthly statements, reconciliations, AP/AR management, cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and tax compliance. The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in accounting or finance and is proficient with accounting software and Excel.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant working experience in accounting or finance is preferred.
• Experience in handling a full set of accounts is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiar with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle a full set of accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, payments, and collections.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and supporting documents.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Handle tax-related matters, audit schedules, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities when required.
• Ensure accounting records comply with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
