A logistics company based in Subang Jaya is looking for a financial professional to manage and prepare financial statements, budgets, and ensure compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience with SAP. Responsibilities include preparing management accounts and managing audits. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Prepare full set, monthly and weekly management accounts and related schedules in the prescribed format per deadline set for Malaysia & Singapore entities
  • Facilitate the collection of financial and accounting information and the preparation of budgets, reports, forecasts and consolidated profit and loss reports as per deadline set
  • Prepare year‑end statutory report, tax computation, GST & SST reporting, government surveys, and reporting
  • Payment and billing processing, monitoring of unbilled report, ensure customer is invoiced and debt is collected within agreed terms and regularly report variances to management for appropriate follow‑up action
  • Oversee and ensure the timely review all general ledger, intercompany and bank reconciliations
  • Ability to analyse financial figures and troubleshoot issues independently
  • Attention to details and follow‑through in a timely manner
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary, and bankers
  • Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Processes, and Procedures
  • System and processes – Assist in processes and system implementation when required; continue to streamline and automate tasks to ensure improvement and efficiencies
  • Assist the Financial Controller to ensure all internal controls and accounting policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Audit the sites petty cash, cash payments including banking transaction and ensure reconciliation is done
  • Provide variance analysis for actual expenses variances to budget
  • Any ad‑hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Candidates who have experience or exposure in audit or corporate/commercial accounting background in multinationals and logistics will be an added advantage

  • Time management skills/ able to priorities workloads
  • Expert working knowledge of SAP
