Job description

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Lead the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions, including AP, AR, GL, and cash flow.

• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and analysis for senior management and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

2. Cash Flow & Treasury

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.

• Implement effective controls over payments, collections, and banking transactions.

• Liaise with banks, auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.

3. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Drive the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

• Provide variance analysis and actionable recommendations to support decision-making.

• Identify financial risks and opportunities to optimize business performance.

4. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations and growth initiatives.

• Act as a key advisor to management on financial strategies and business planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, etc.).

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Strong track record in financial reporting, cash flow management, and budgeting.
