Job summary

TL Nexus Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an accounting professional to manage daily accounting tasks and ensure accurate financial records.

You will handle AP/AR, invoicing, bank reconciliations, and monthly close, collaborating with suppliers and auditors while meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Familiar with accounting software and Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Detail-oriented and accurate.
• Able to meet deadlines and work independently or in a team.
• Knowledge of full set of accounts required.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and finance-related matters.
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain proper records.
• Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Monitor payments, receipts and outstanding balances.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents and others.
• Ensure accounting documents are properly filed and maintained.
• Assist with other accounting and administrative duties as required.
