A leading construction company in Malaysia is seeking a candidate for finance and accounting responsibilities. The role requires a degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include processing payment vouchers, performing account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting with audits. Candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. To process payment voucher and key in data quickly and correctly into various systems (Microsoft Excel/word, accounting system, etc), and submit payment through banking system and complete the bank reconciliation.
Perform daily reconciliation of customer accounts and payment transactions.
Ensure compliance with local and international tax and invoicing regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial reports and AP reconciliations.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Assist in setting up internal financial controls.
Ensure compliance with banking and financing matters.
Support the Superior in budgeting and financial record-keeping.
Take charge of some human resources & administrative tasks including office supplies procurement and management, as well as the payment of administrative expenses like utility bills.
Handle the declaration procedures of EIS, SOCSP, EPF and PCB in accordance with relevant regulations.
