Job description

We are seeking an Accounting Executive to join our team at Keepers Property Management in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This is a full-time position where you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the smooth day-to-day accounting operations of our growing property management firm.

What you'll be doing

• To prepare weekly bank reconciliation & month end reports / journals and maintaining accurate accounting records
• Assisting with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
• Liaising with internal and external parties when necessary ie. Auditor, tax agent, bankers
• Close monthly accounts and table statement of accounts at every monthly meeting.
• Update the cash book and to monitor bank balances
• Ensure that bank accounts are properly maintained and accounted for
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient accounting practices
• Assist manager for any other tasks when required.
• Ensure petty cash transactions are properly recorded and monitored

What we're looking for

• LCCI / Degree / Diploma in Accountancy or related field
• Good communication skill, independent and problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
• Applicants with condo property management accounts experience has higher advantages
• Handle full set of accounts is a good advantage
• Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc)
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
