What you'll do:
  • Review accounting and non-accounting documents to accurately identify document types in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform data quality control and ensure correct extraction of accounting details.
  • Identify and remove duplicate documents to maintain bookkeeping hygiene.
  • Classify accounting documents and assign the correct account codes based on accounting treatment.
  • Verify bank balances and perform basic bank reconciliations accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Highlight discrepancies and provide constructive feedback to the senior ADO member or team lead.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to improve accounting knowledge and OA system proficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc operational tasks as required by management.
Who you are:
  • Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field under a recognised Malaysian university or college internship programme.
  • Internship duration of 3 to 6 months as required by the university curriculum.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Good familiarity with accounting documents such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured workflows.
  • Good proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work under deadlines.
  • Comfortable adapting to a fast-changing environment with evolving tools and processes.
