Position 1: Senior Accounts Executives/Accountants (Construction/Property Development)
- Responsible for full set of accounts
- Ensure payments are completed accurately and timely manner
- Review report and vendor reconciliation and act on overdue open items
- Responsible for ensuring KPIs for Account receivables and payables are met, including timely processing and payment of invoices
- Develop action plans to help the team to achieve KPI
- Verify and review suppliers' payments, staff commission claim and trade application
- Establish and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Internal Control Procedures to improve Finance and Reporting Systems
- Timely Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns submission and compliance at all times
- Responsible for Tax Planning & Compliance
- Attend and liaise with Internal and External Auditors, Tax Agent, Legal, Bankers and etc
- Lead, coach and manage team of finance effectively
- Perform other ad hoc assignment and task as and when requested by management
Position 2: Senior Accounts Executives/Accountants (Trading/Manufacturing MNC)
- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Reports
- Prepare weekly and monthly Cash Flow Reports
- Verify and approve supplier payments and monitor credit control
- Monitor utilisation of banking facilities
- Preparation of bank application (RC, LC, BG, BA etc)
- Monitor AR Aging and highlight long overdue customers
- Responsible for Company Taxation, ensuring Tax Computation information is prepared and submitted to Tax Agent accurately and timely
- Review of tax payable and provision required in financial statement
- Lead and co‑ordinate the preparation of Company budget
- Prepare monthly prepaids, accruals, and provisions
- Prepare monthly financial closing
- Prepare Forex/Realised gain or loss for AP and AR
Position 3: Senior Accounts Executives/Accountants (Manufacturing/Engineering MNC)
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- Monthly and end‑year process of accounts payable/receivable
- Cash receipts
- General ledger
- Payroll and utilities
- Treasury, budgeting
- Cash forecasting
- Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- Capital assets reconciliations
- Trust account statement reconciliations
- Fixed asset activity
- Debt activity
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Review financial documents for submission to Management and HQ in Japan
- Ensure monthly reports are timely and accurate
- Review monthly salary payment disbursement and other payables
- Review and finalize cash flow planning and make financing proposals as required
- Monitor and ensure the continuation of accounting outsourcing project (from Regional HQ Singapore) and support South‑East Asia regional Accounting and Finance activities and projects
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Prepare annual business plan and 5‑year business plan
- Coordinate and complete annual audits and yearly tax computation
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Provide recommendations to Management regarding important asset handling, business budget, organisational financial position etc.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure accuracy and compliance to Internal Control, Corporate Accounting Regulations, ISO 9001 and 14001 requirements, as applicable
- Coordinate BOD and AGM meetings and relevant documentation compilation
- Manage the Accounting software
- Coordinate with Company Secretary in line with Company Act requirements
Position 4: Senior Accounts Executives/Accountants (GL) – Manufacturing MNC
- Responsible for full set of accounts
- Ensure payments are completed accurately and timely manner
- Solve discrepancy between purchase order and invoice
- Monitor backlog invoices and give direction to teams to drive down the backlog number accordingly
- Review report and vendor reconciliation and act on overdue open items
- Responsible for ensuring KPIs for Account receivable and payable are met, including timely processing and payment of invoices
- Develop action plans to help the team to achieve KPI
- Verify and review suppliers' payments, staff commission claim and trade application
- Establish and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Internal Control Procedures to improve Finance and Reporting Systems

Position 5: Senior Accounts Executives/Accountants (Costing) – Manufacturing MNC
- 1. Managing the inventory movement records and costing process
- 2. Provide analysis related to inventory costing, production & manufacturing expenses
- 3. Check supplier statement of account to ensure AP outstanding balance is tally to suppliers' balance
- 4. Review customer collection receipt before posting
- 5. Perform monthly physical stock count and prepare variance report
- 6. Prepare listing for inventory insurance declaration
- 7. Liaise with consultants on any finance related issues
- 8. Assist in month end closing process
- 9. Assist in monthly reporting
- 10. Assist in the preparation of budget and tax schedules
- 11. Any other duties and projects as assigned by superior
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Working experience in leading Accounts team (2 subordinates – executive level)
- Ability to direct and supervise
- computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Some knowledge on project accounting / costing accounting (profit / loss by each sales order, WIP, labour costs, transportation cost, variances etc)
- Experience in tax computation, external audit financial statement preparation, liaising with company secretary and preparing BOD accounting reports
- Experience dealing with regional group companies will be an advantage
- High attention to detail and accuracy
