Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations of the assigned entity. Key responsibilities include:

Lead and ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closings.

Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports in compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Handle full sets of accounts and statutory reports independently.

Lead and oversee all accounting functions including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), journal entries, and reconciliations.

Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, including in-depth analysis of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.

Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and local authorities.

Manage tax matters, including preparation of tax computations, tax estimates, LMW/e-Invoicing/SST filings, ensuring timely and effective compliance with tax legislation.

Drive system improvements and project implementations, including e-invoicing integration and ERP upgrades.

Lead initiatives to enhance financial and management reporting systems, internal controls, and accounting policies.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or senior management.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably with exposure to the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in full set of accounts and finance operations.
  • Previous experience in an audit firm is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving skills with ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to multi‑task.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with SAP ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
  • Experience with systems migration or digital transformation projects is a plus.
  • Willingness to be located at Telok Panglima Garang.
