Job description

Overview

We are seeking an ACCOUNTANT (new position) to supervise a regional finance team with the Finance Manager and CFO in enhancing financial reporting, costing, budgeting, internal controls, treasury, regional finance and tax integration, and ensuring compliance in MFRS.

Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Draft audit financial statements
• Prepare and/or check management reports
• Conduct analytical review
• Participate in due diligence exercise of target companies
• Prepare group consolidation of accounts and segment reporting

Audit & Tax Compliance

• Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax and corporate secretariat agents
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and corporate SOPs
• Identify and address improvements in internal controls

Budgeting

• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts
• Monitor cash flow, involve in costs control, and variance analysis

Process Improvement & Systems Management

• Enhance financial processes, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
• Implement and enhance existing workflows and/or new systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Business, ACCA (or equivalent)
• Min 3 years experience in external audit
