Job summary

Seeking an experienced Accountant with financial services background to deliver accurate reporting, ensure compliance, and support key decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily accounting tasks: manage accounts payable/receivable, conduct bank reconciliations, and record financial data accurately (full set accounts).
• Prepare consolidated group financial reports and support month-end and year-end closing.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and contribute to strategic financial planning and variance analysis.
• Identify and reconcile discrepancies in financial statements to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Malaysian financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and regulatory bodies to ensure timely submission and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to speak/read/write Mandarin
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA), Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Min 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in financial services industry or digital payments.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, with ability to interpret complex financial data.
