Job summary

A leading culinary studio in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to manage full set accounts, including accounts receivable and payable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of accounting experience, be skilled in the Xero accounting system, and demonstrate attention to detail. Qualifications

• At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in accounting.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in account administration or related fields, preferably in retail.
• Meticulous, self-driven and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set accounts including receivables, payables, and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Update financial data in databases for accuracy.

Job description

Required to handle full set account including but not limited to account receivable, payable, general ledger, journal entry and bank reconciliation.

Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.

Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned.

Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.

Prepare and submit monthly or yearly closings.

Assist with other accounting projects.

REQUIREMENTS

Preferably with at least 2 to 3 years’ working experience in accounting.

Skilled in using Xero accounting system.

Have knowledge and hands-on experience account administration or other account related field, preferable in retail industry.

Attentive to details and consistent in data management.
