About the role

Ideal Capital Venture Sdn Bhd, a prominent homegrown property developer that positions itself as a legacy creator with a diverse portfolio of on‑going projects in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records for operations, prepare monthly accounts, budget, forecast and cash flow.
  • Review the management accounts and prepare tax computation; manage the tax planning of the company.
  • Liaise with tax agents, external & internal auditors, and external parties such as bankers and financial providers.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of accounting regulations, best practices, and industry trends for the company’s improvement.
  • Mentor and support the team members to enhance the overall capabilities of the accounting department including fund‑raising, acquisition of companies, conducting due diligence and feasibility studies.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting role in property development or a similar industry.
  • Strong proficiency in using accounting software such as UBS Accounting System, IFCA System Software and Microsoft Applications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and administrative skills; familiar with statutory requirements.
  • A team player with the ability to work under pressure independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
