Account Supervisor (HQ @ Butterworth / Branch @Kedah)
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Attend to clients’ questions and issues promptly.
  • Analysing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Ensuring the accuracy, timeliness and compliance of workpapers, financial reports and other tasks
  • Review on provision on income tax, SST submission and other applicable taxes.
  • Provide coaching to accounts staff.
  • Assist clients in compliance related matters.
  • Keeping abreast of relevant regulatory changes and accounting standards to offer up-to-date advice.
  • Liaise closely with auditors and tax agents
  • Utilize accounting software for data management, analysis and reporting.
  • Involve in client presentations and proposal submissions.
  • Support in the business development by identifying new service opportunities for clients.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments and top management.

Requirement:

  • Possesses a degree in accounting and finance or a professional certification like ACCA or equivalent.
  • Has at least 2 years of relevant working experience in accounting and tax.
  • Skilled in using accounting software, including Master, Autocount, SQL
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with people.
  • Proficient in planning, organizing, and prioritizing to ensure timely completion and delivery of work.
  • Good team player who works collaboratively within and across teams.
  • Technical knowledge in accounting standards and always updated with relevant regulations.
  • Detailed oriented.
  • Ability to manage stress especially on managing deadlines, workload, client expectations and others.
  • Willing to work in services provider firm
  • Having a full set of account knowledge is an advantage
