Job summary

A leading airport operator in Labuan is seeking an Account Officer for Support Services in Finance. The ideal candidate will manage financial resources, prepare reports, and handle billing and payments. A diploma in Accounting or Finance and strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English are required. Only Malaysian citizens can apply. POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY

Managing the financial resources of an organization to ensure efficient and effective functioning of its operations.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

FI Module (Reporting) – To prepare

  • Monthly Airports Performance Reporting
  • Monthly Accrual Expenses & Revenue

Sales and Distribution (SD Module)

  • Billing – To prepare Sales Order/Invoices for Airlines
  • Landing/Parking/Check-In Counter
  • MAS/MASWings/Non-Schedule (ADHOC)
  • PSC/Landing/Parking/Check-In Counter
  • Create Debit/Credit note (if any)
  • One-up review Sales Order before billing.

Account Receivable (AR Module)

  • Post Incoming payment
  • Record in-coming payment in AR register book.
  • Credit Control
  • One-up review (AR)

Account Payable (AP)

  • AP entry
  • Invoice Verification

Cash Management

  • Collection from other Units/customers
  • Bank-In Cash/Cheques
  • Custodian of Petty Cash
  • Investigate airports recon item (AR)

Controlling/Budget

  • Annual/Revised Budget – Revenue/Expenses
  • Budget Compilation
  • Budget Availability

Material Management

  • Compliance 3Ps/FLOA
  • Create/Maintain PR/RFQ/PO/Post GR (SAP)(Back-Up)
  • NON-SAP

Others

  • Secretariat Committee (Procurement)
  • Compliance 3PS/FLOA/ALL Finance SOP related
  • Procurement Secretariat
  • ISO 9001:2000 – Procurement
  • Stocktake as and when required Monthly/Year End
  • Other tasks as instructed by Airport Manager/Management
Skills
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
