A leading technology solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow key accounts across government, industrial, education, and commercial sectors. The role requires proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English, with at least 2 years of experience in sales. Responsibilities include driving the sales cycle, preparing proposals, and collaborating with technical teams. Manage and grow key accounts across multiple industries e.g. government, industrial, education, and commercial sectors.
Drive the complete sales cycle: lead generation, technical proposal, tender participation, negotiation and closing.
Identify and develop new market opportunities, channels and partnerships.
Prepare and review complex proposals and bid submissions for government and private sector tenders.
Collaborate with internal technical teams for solution design, delivery planning and after-sales support.
Monitor competitor activity and recommend market positioning strategies.
Represent the company in exhibitions, trade shows and technical presentations.
Candidate must possess at least Advanced/Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Power Systems or any other equivalent field.
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Ability to communicate in additional languages such as Mandarin is an added advantage.
At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.
Candidates with experience in UPS systems or electrical/power solutions will be given preference.
Willingness to travel within Klang Valley and outstation locations as required.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
