What does the role involve?

The purpose of the role is to create value in the allocated account’s portfolio through effective design and implementation of individual account strategies to build long‑term, sustainable, and profitable relationships with customers. The role involves professional field sales and high‑level customer consultation in the defined territory within the target industry. The job holder needs to provide efficient solutions and technical support to customers and represent the Hilti brand in the marketplace.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Achieving sales planning and target through territory assigned
  • Identifying business/sales opportunity and promoting Hilti’s product line based on designed territory and trade segment
  • Applying trade application knowledge to become a solution provider to customers through demo culture/user training
  • Expanding sales coverage by acquiring new clients and maintaining good business relationships with existing clients to build up loyalty based on the customer loyalty journey
  • Demo products and services in person, face‑to‑face, with customer
  • Applying disciplined sales execution towards customer development with planning of annual, monthly, weekly, and daily activities with clear objectives to ensure productive sales calls
  • Be an expert in handling customers’ inquiries/complaints and provide ideal solutions
  • Sales forecasting and activity planning/closing via customer relationship management (CRM) tools
  • Preparing quotations, monitoring progress of customer orders, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Introducing new products to the market/target customer
  • Collaborating with a variety of departments (logistics, credit, marketing, technical services, and customer service, etc.)
  • Attending to other ad‑hoc matters or tasks as and when required by the team leader
