Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including cash flow analysis and management accounting information.
  • Review management accounts, prepare draft audited accounts, and perform tax computations.
  • Oversee daily accounting and finance operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, expenditures, revenues, and inter‑company balances.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, company secretaries, tax agents, and relevant government authorities when required.
  • Stay updated with current Accounting Standards, Tax Laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit financial data, prepare tax returns, and provide tax‑related advice to ensure compliance with Group policies and Accounting Standards.
  • Assist in preparing and managing Group budgets, projected P&L statements, and cash flow forecasts as needed.
  • Conduct internal audits, analyse operational weaknesses, and recommend improvements to enhance the Group’s accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with team members, provide guidance, and ensure an efficient end‑to‑end accounting process across the Group.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of e‑invoicing across the Group.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in financial data, ensuring all records, transactions, and reconciliations are complete, error‑free, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Compile, analyse, and present timely and accurate financial reports, statements, and dashboards for management, stakeholders, and auditors, with clear narrative explanations and insights.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
  • Chartered Accountant or an equivalent professional qualification
  • Prior experience in Construction, Property Development, or the Credit Industry
  • Background in auditing or tax‑related roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong expertise in tax regulations and compliance.
  • Proven ability to identify weaknesses in accounting processes, tax matters, or organizational structure and propose effective solutions.
  • Capacity to manage multiple accounts across diverse industries simultaneously.
