We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account & Finance Manager to join our team at EVERLASTING BASE SDN. BHD. in Melaka. As the Account & Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the business. This is a full‑time position based in our Melaka office.

What you’ll be doing
  • Manage all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to the management team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and systems.
  • Conduct and involve in monthly stock take, process the month end stock take closing.
  • Fixed assets management.
  • Manage cash expenses and petty cash.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing or services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and other financial management tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing finance teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results.
  • Good communication skills in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Able to communicate and read in Mandarin is an added advantage as it facilitates dealing with Chinese stakeholders.
