Job summary

A wholesaler distributor in the food industry is seeking a skilled Senior Account Executive to manage full sets of accounts at their location in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in accounting and proficiency in relevant accounting software. Excellent communication skills in Mandarin are crucial to communicate with clients. This role offers a competitive salary up to RM 7,000 depending on experience.

Account Executive (Senior, Full set Acc & Analysis, Mount Austin) - urgent!

Company: Wholesaler Distributor - Frozen Food Industry

Working Location: Setia Eco Business Park (near Seri Austin), Johor Bahru

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)

Salary: Up to rm 7k (depends on last drawn & experience)

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain Full sets of accounts, including recording journal entries, payment vouchers, receipt vouchers, sales invoices, and purchase bills.

Responsible for monthly management accounts, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.

Analyse financial data to identify variances, trends and performance indicators. Responsible for monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Review for Monthly Payroll, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Assist in the implementation of E-invoicing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ensure all accounting transactions are accurately documented and filed systematically.

Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.

Assist in audit & tax matters, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations.

Support daily accounting tasks and administrative duties as assigned.

Ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining full sets of accounts.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, QNE, Sage UBS) and MS Office.

Strong understanding of local accounting standards, Malaysia income tax act, employment law, including MFRS, SST & E‑invoice.

Experience in E‑Invoice Implementation will be advantage.

Excellent communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.
