Job summary

A leading security services company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to manage full sets of accounts, ensure compliance with tax requirements, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or a related field, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, and the ability to communicate in Chinese is an advantage. This position offers structured working hours from Monday to Friday.

Job description
Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

Manage full sets of accounts, including month-end closing, daily/monthly financial reporting, and overall financial tasks.

Conduct general accounting duties: data entry, document processing, record-keeping, etc., in a timely manner.

Prepare cash flow reports, oversee collections, and process outgoing payments.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and funding projections.

Liaise with external parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary.

Carry out any ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors as needed.

Support audit processes by ensuring proper documentation and records.

Maintain compliance with tax and statutory requirements.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting or a related field.

3 to 5 years of relevant experience in maintaining full sets of accounts.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to learn quickly.

Capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.

Experience with the Infortech Accounting System is a plus.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese is considered an added advantage.
