Job summary

A financial services provider in Malaysia is seeking an Accountant to manage a full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and timely financial reporting. Responsibilities

Manage a full set of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.

Support the day‑to‑day financial operations within the company (invoicing, A/P & A/R, and other transactions).

Conduct regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Ensure timely distribution of analysis reports to internal stakeholders.

Ensure financial and management reports are completed and submitted according to the schedule determined by management.

Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws, SST requirements, and other statutory regulations.

Make necessary improvements to financial processes, controls, and systems.

Handle other accounting tasks related to the company.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting, auditing, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast‑paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
