A client in the finance sector is hiring an Account Executive to manage financial transactions and prepare reports. Join our client's dynamic team as an Account Executive and play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Process invoices: Manage daily invoicing, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in the accounting system.
Perform reconciliations: Assist with weekly/monthly bank and account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Prepare reports: Create basic performance and financial reports for CFO review, contributing to the company's financial oversight.
Liaise with stakeholders: Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to address discrepancies and update pricing information.
Manage tax filings: Prepare SST and WHT filings accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Support special projects: Provide additional assistance on tasks assigned by the CFO or senior finance team.
Process payments: Handle payment vouchers and maintain accurate payment records.
Educational background: Candidates with a Degree in Accounting or equivalent, preferably with ACCA qualification or currently pursuing it. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Relevant experience: 2-3 years of accounting experience in a similar role, with familiarity in MFRS being an advantage.
Technical skills: Experience with membership systems and SQL accounting software is beneficial.
Language proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and vendors.
Personal qualities: Self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
Communication skills: Strong ability to report findings and collaborate effectively with the finance department.
