Overview

Account Executive — We're hiring! We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from the office.

What the day will look like

Operational Oversight

  • Assist the Team Lead in overseeing the company’s operational policies and procedures, particularly in areas related to insurance booking, operational excellence, and customer account operations.
  • Support the centralization of processing activities to drive operational efficiency and consistency.
  • Review and re-engineer processes and procedures to enhance operational support for the business. Ensure regulatory compliance and effective implementation of Aon’s corporate procedures and internal controls.
  • Monitor and report on Operational Excellence (OPEX) performance on a monthly basis.
  • Keep the Team Lead informed of any significant issues, risks, or operational concerns in a timely manner.

Broking & Transactional Support

  • Ensure smooth administration and accurate transactional processing in support of daily broking activities.
  • Monitor and follow up on the issuance of policies and endorsements with insurers.
  • Prepare billing advice within agreed turnaround times.
  • Verify the accuracy of policies and endorsements to ensure alignment with client instructions.
  • Review and confirm the accuracy of medical cards and related documents received from insurers.
  • Consistently validate invoices against insurer billings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Track and follow through on all deferments and medical requirements until resolution.

Credit Control & Financial Coordination

  • Support Account Servicers in maintaining up-to-date credit control, including client follow-ups on premium payments.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance on debtor aging performance.

Data Entry & Documentation

  • Provide accurate and timely data entry support for quotation slips, insurance summaries, renewal worksheets, and billing issuance.
  • Maintain organized records of outstanding documents, including
    • Policies, endorsements, and invoices from insurers
    • Aon’s billing and client payments
    • Unprocessed covers
    • Aon contracts, AMLA documentation
    • Other items requiring tracking and follow-up

Data Management & Compliance

  • Ensure client data and information are accurate and updated in a timely manner.
  • Maintain proper filing of all client and insurer documentation and correspondence in designated folders for future reference.
  • Verify the accuracy of all invoicing and related documentation for both clients and insurers.
  • Ensure all documentation is delivered to clients promptly and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ensure full compliance with the company’s operational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • A degree and relevant working experience in the insurance industry, or in another industry with a strong focus on client interaction.
  • Proven experience in client management and data handling.
