Job summary

Preparing financial statements, reports, and tax returns in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations


Providing financial advice and guidance to small business clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial operations


Liaising with clients, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless financial management


Continually seeking opportunities to streamline processes and improve the efficiency of the finance function


Contributing to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures


Mentoring and supervising junior members of the accounting team, as required


What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field


A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a small practice or boutique firm


Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail


Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders


Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications


A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement


A valid accounting certification or license (e.g., CPA, ACCA) would be highly desirable
