Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and profit & loss accounts.
- Handle daily bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, staff claims, and debtor collections.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Monitor company cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, SST, corporate tax, and statutory filings.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
- Support internal control implementation and audit exercises.
- Work with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation.
- Provide financial insights to support management decisions.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by superior/management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant working experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles and practices.
- Hands‑on experience with accounting software (e.g., AutoCount, SQL, QuickBooks and etc.) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record‑keeping.
- Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
