Job summary

A financial services firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced accountant to manage monthly management accounts and payroll processing. The ideal candidate will hold a minimum degree in accounting and have experience in handling full set of accounts. Familiarity with accounting software such as SQL, Autocount, and Bukku is preferred. This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently.

• Preparation and handling of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of monthly accounting schedules
• Process monthly payroll and statutory contributions
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Maintain updated accounting records
• Liaising with auditor and tax agent on yearly accounts audit
• Assist Senior with any ad hoc tasks as needed
• Administrative duties
