Job summary

A leading accounting firm in Johor Bahru is looking for a motivated individual to manage a full set of accounts, prepare financial reports, and assist in taxation matters. The ideal candidate holds an LCCI or Diploma in Accounting, has foundational knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles, and is proficient in software like AutoCount and Excel. Qualifications

  • LCCI, Diploma in accounting, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in software, e.g., AutoCount, Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Handle full set of accounts (or assist): AP, AR, GL.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, schedules).
  • Bank reconciliation and checking cashflow.
  • Assist with taxation matters (prepare SST workings, liaise with external tax agents).
  • Assist with audit (prepare audit schedules and documents).
  • Handle payroll inputs (Submission EPF, SOCSO & PCB).
  • Maintain proper filing for accounting documents.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing.
