About the role

SG CAR SDN BHD' is looking for an experienced and skilled Account Assistant to join our team in our Subang Airport Selangor office. This is a full‑time position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of our growing organisation.

What you’ll be doing
  • Perform general accounting duties such as processing invoices, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of monthly financial reports
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets and forecasts
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the accounting system
  • Provide support to the finance team in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers, to resolve any accounting‑related queries or issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting assistant role, preferably in the Accounting, Bookkeeping or Small Practice Accounting industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and regulations
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets and other financial reporting tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Possess a diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field
