Overview

A passionate, qualified, and experienced A-Level Physics Teacher to join our academic team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate in-depth subject knowledge, a strong understanding of the Cambridge International A-Level curriculum, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centered instruction.

The teacher will be responsible for preparing students for A level Physics examinations, fostering analytical thinking, and supporting overall academic growth.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the Cambridge International A-Level Physics syllabus.
  • Use a range of pedagogical strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Integrate technology and lab-based experiments to enhance conceptual understanding.
  • Design and administer formative and summative assessments in line with Cambridge standards.
  • Provide constructive, timely feedback on student progress.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external examinations.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
  • Support students' academic and personal development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
  • Stay up to date with developments in physics education and Cambridge curriculum updates.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary and co-curricular initiatives. Provide academic mentoring and guidance to students applying to universities in STEM fields.
  • Act as a homeroom if assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Physics or a related field (required).
  • Professional teaching qualification/certification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Cambridge A-Level Physics.
