A leading equipment service company in Kulim, Malaysia is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to oversee installations, conduct system checks, and maintain equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with at least two years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Required skills include troubleshooting various systems and bilingual proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English. The role includes supervising technical services while ensuring exceptional customer support.
Perform and supervise installation, technical system checks and commissioning of equipment at customers sites mainly in Kulim, MY but in future potentially all over Malaysia and Singapore.
Perform service and maintenance on new as well as on used systems.
Continuously collect, analyze and summarize customers feedback, and report to the line manager.
Follow up of service-related activities and timely Execution of service tasks.
Build up and maintain corporate image by delivering excellence in customer service.
Support and advice customers in operation, handling, and maintenance.
Introduction of new equipment to the customer.
Provide and present performance data and technical presentations to the customer.
Ensure the proper function of tools and safety equipment, strictly following safety procedures to handlehazardous chemicals.
On-call duty and shift duty might be required upon customer request.
Bachelor's degree, major in electrical, mechanical engineering, or related field is preferred.
2 years experience in equipment engineering or service, preferably from Semiconductor-, CVD- or PVD industry.
Experience in technical customer service of MOCVD systems is preferred.
Working experience in European companies is preferred.
Excellent in oral and written Bahasa Melayu and English.
Strong skills in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, vacuum, gas and software control systems.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Residency in Malaysia is desirable.
