Job Description
- Oversee the integration of mechanical and electrical subsystems into complete assemblies.
- Manage manufacturing engineering at the component level.
- Develop and execute assembly strategies to ensure products are consistent, efficient to manufacture, and meet quality requirements.
- Examine and authorize technical drawings, and testing documentation for both systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and product assembly efficiency.
- Provide guidance in troubleshooting complex systems and managing engineering changes.
- Coach and develop engineering staff.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Support pre-production testing, factory validation, and qualification activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years experience in capital equipment, semiconductor, or automation system integration
- At least 5 years in senior technical or managerial roles.
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Systems Engineering; PMP certification preferred.
- Good intechnical problem-solving, planning, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Strategic and execution-focused mindset with ability to lead high-performance engineering teams.
