Job Description
- Establish and ensure full compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Select, evaluate, and manage supplier performance to maintain strong partnerships and service reliability.
- Oversee legal and contractual matters with suppliers, including End-of-Life (EOL) program management and stock handling at supplier sites.
- Monitor production progress and review weekly production schedules against forecasts and customer orders.
- Support operational efficiency and profitability by ensuring timely material supply and cost optimization.
- Oversee all purchasing and logistics operations.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain effective supply chain operations that meet production and customer requirements.
- Lead departmental staff through recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
- Prepare and submit reports, analyses, proposals, presentations, and correspondence within stipulated timelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing systems to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Initiate, recommend, and implement process enhancements to improve operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall business profitability.
- Manage budgeting and costing activities, including cost analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
- Solid in Quality Engineering, System Requirements, and Manufacturing Processes, with solid understanding of Material Properties.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Proactive, self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to travel when necessary.
- Preferably possesses knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management, including Warehouse and Logistics operations.
- Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in Supply Chain or related fields.
- Well-versed with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and RBA (Responsible Business Alliance) standards and practices.
