Job Description

  • Analyse and improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.
  • Design, program, and maintain PLC-controlled systems, including HMIs, SCADA, sensors, and actuators.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to integrate automation solutions into production.
  • Prepare documentation, including functional design specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, and SOP
  • Lead commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of automated equipment (FAT, SAT, and on-site).
  • Train production and maintenance staff on automated systems and best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM to optimise throughput and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • MinimunBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least3-5 years of experience in injection molding process engineering, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
