Job summary

A leading precision engineering manufacturer in Johor Bahru is seeking a Process Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in metal work manufacturing. The successful candidate will review quality specifications, perform root cause analysis, and improve product quality for better customer satisfaction. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with familiarity with basic inspection equipment and engineering drawings. This role requires the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Process Engineering experience in Metal Work manufacturing environment.
• Able to use basic inspection measuring equipment.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good communication skills among peers, superiors, management, and inter-departments.
• Six Sigma knowledge is an advantage.
• Possesses leadership, good time management, and confident decision-making qualities.
• Preferably with systematic problem solving/analysis and technical capacity background.

Responsibilities

• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
• Perform root cause analysis for customer complaints or unsatisfactory production yield.
• Investigate product quality to improve customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to management.
• Prepare product work instruction and related documents.
• Efforts in Continuous Improvement Process.
• Liaise with vendors on machine improvement.
• Collaborate with various departments on product-related problems during NPI and mass production.
• Work independently in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Control and manage department documentation.

Job Description

• Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely
  feedback.
• Perform Root cause analysis in the event of customer complaint or when Mass production
  yield is not satisfactory.
• Investigate product quality in order to make improvements to achieve better customer
  satisfaction
• Prepare and present reports and metrics to Management
• Preparation of Product work instruction and related document.
• Consistence effort in CIP.
• Liaise with vendor on machine Improvement.
• Liaise with various department to solve product related problems encountered (in related to our
  products /service) during NPI and Mass production.
• Able to work independently in a fast moving Manufacturing environment.
• Control and manage the documentation of their respective department.
