Job description

Responsibilities

• Design event spaces for corporate events and weddings as well as festive decoration.
• Work with events manager to understand and translate design briefs into visuals.
• Produce 3D renderings, layout plans and detailed dimension drawings.
• Assist in organizing, planning and executing the design built ups at events including liaison with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in preparing proposals and concept presentations to full execution turnaround.
• Obtain quotation for related matter and dealing with vendors.
• Conduct site surveys and inspections.
• Have an eye for details and problem solving skills.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma or higher in 3D, Interior Design, Architecture or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience as 3D designer, interior designer or related field.
• Proficient in 3D Studio Max, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.
• Able to communicate and write in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Imaginative and creative in concepts, stage & ambience design.
• Strong interest in weddings and events and keep up to date with current trends.
• Self-initiative & motivated, strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure.
• Usage and knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques is an added advantage.
• Able to work long hours and flexible hours to meet tight deadlines.
• Must be willing to travel outstation / overseas when assigned.
