Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. in Penang, Malaysia, offers a 12-month, full-time Graduate Trainee Program designed to launch your career in hardware verification for High Speed IO Protocol IPs.

You will work with experts on meaningful projects and build practical experience during the program. Eligibility: recent graduates who completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree within one year of the program start date.

Competenze

• Recent graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's within one year of the program start.
• Knowledge of SystemVerilog, Verilog, Perl, TCL, Python is a plus.
• AI fluency and familiarity with AI tools is advantageous.

• Plan, build, and execute verification of High Speed IO Protocol IPs (USB, PCIe, Ethernet, UFS).
• Understand architecture specifications and complete duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Able to work well inside team/cross functional team.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to understand tasks to deliver.
• Run design flows, simulations and regression management.
• Perform first level debug test/design errors to determine root cause.
• Suggest fixes and solutions to test/design errors.

THE ROLE:

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Penang, Malaysia
• Program Type: Full-time Graduate Trainee Program
• Program Duration: 12 months
• Program Start Date: December 7, 2026
• Eligibility: Recent graduates who completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree within one year of the program start date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for High Speed IO Protocol IPs (USB, PCIe, Ethernet, UFS)
• Understanding architecture specifications requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.
• Able to work well inside team/cross functional team.
• Collaborate and communicate with team members to understand task that require to deliver.
• Run design flows, simulations and regression management.
• Perform first level debug test/design errors to determine the root cause.
• Suggest fixes and solutions to test/design errors
• Develop scripting for daily task execution efficiency improvement.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Knowing system Verilog, verilog , Perl, TCL, Phyton is a plus.
• AI fluency and familiarity with AI tools or technologies will be an added advantage.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in electrical & electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or comparable disciplines
