Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Supplier Development Admin in Senai, Johor, Malaysia. This role supports the Global Commodity Management team, handles localisation data, and coordinates supplier changes across cross-functional teams.

The position requires a diploma in engineering or business administration with 2–5 years of data analysis experience and strong Excel skills. A background in PFMEA/Control Plans and GD&T is a plus.

Qualifications

• Provide support on supplier/component issues arising from change management and product qualification.

Summary

Detailed Description

Supplier Development Admin performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Provide strong assistance to the Global Commodity Management team, fostering a culture of quality mindset and accountability.
• To administrate & Maintain localisation tracker [data analysis] for China/US exit subtier change parts movements, trigerring/updating stake holders until closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related SNF/SPCN/SCR/issue tracker updating
• Attend meetings with stake holders with or without the assistance of dept Engineer/Manager to timely update SNF / Supplier change progress if have to.
• Participate in the development of supplier general processes and special processes such as welding, machining, powder coating, painting, plating, anodizing, and polishing,to obtain general knowledge , optional
• Provide informative support in supplier/component issues arising from related change management and/or product qualification processes.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by management
• Knowledge of Excel application is a must , for data analysis
• Knowledge of Core Quality Tools including PFMEA, Control Plans is a plus
• Understanding of GD&T and control of Key/Critical characteristics is a plus
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a strong sense of accountability

• Dilploma in Engineering or Business Administration, or related field

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
• Duties of this position require occasional sustained concentration to focus on small areas, objects, computers, etc.
• Duties of this position require occasional light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space, climbing, using equipment, handling lightweight materials, etc.
• Duties of this position require occasional heavy manual effort and considerable exertion including lifting objects over 20 pounds, requiring straining, pulling and lifting.

Typical Experience

Typical Education

• Two or three year general technical college diploma/degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
