Responsibilities

• Provide strong assistance to Global Commodity Management, focusing on data analysis and localisation tracker.
• Administer and maintain localisation tracker for China/US exit subtier change parts movements, updating stakeholders until closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related issues and update trackers.
• Attend meetings with stakeholders to update SNF/Supplier change progress.
• Contribute to development of supplier processes and general quality tools such as PFMEA and control plans.
• Provide support in supplier/component issues from change management and product qualification processes.
• Adhere to safety and health rules in the manufacturing environment.

Summary

Incumbents may determine best methods and procedures to follow to complete assignments. Tasks are very complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Decisions/actions may have an impact on the departments goals and may go beyond the department. Works under minimum Supervision. Situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods are referred to manager or expert resource. May provide functional guidance to others performing similar work. May be considered the expert in areas assigned. Builds internal and external relationships that require exchanging information and providing some explanations in a problem solving capacity.

Detailed Description

• Provide strong assistance to the Global Commodity Management team, fostering a culture of quality mindset and accountability.
• To administrate & Maintain localisation tracker [data analysis] for China/US exit subtier change parts movements, trigerring/updating stake holders until closure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier-related SNF/SPCN/SCR/issue tracker updating
• Attend meetings with stake holders with or without the assistance of dept Engineer/Manager to timely update SNF / Supplier change progress if have to.
• Participate in the development of supplier general processes and special processes such as welding, machining, powder coating, painting, plating, anodizing, and polishing,to obtain general knowledge , optional
• Provide informative support in supplier/component issues arising from related change management and/or product qualification processes.
• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by management
• Knowledge of Excel application is a must , for data analysis
• Knowledge of Core Quality Tools including PFMEA, Control Plans is a plus
• Understanding of GD&T and control of Key/Critical characteristics is a plus
• Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a strong sense of accountability

• Highly motivated, passionate and collaborative, pleasant personality
• Minimum 2-5 years of proven experience data analysis.
• Dilploma in Engineering or Business Administration, or related field

Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.
• Duties of this position require occasional sustained concentration to focus on small areas, objects, computers, etc.
• Duties of this position require occasional light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space, climbing, using equipment, handling lightweight materials, etc.
• Duties of this position require occasional heavy manual effort and considerable exertion including lifting objects over 20 pounds, requiring straining, pulling and lifting.
