Amazon is seeking a Shift Manager in Last Mile Execution, with four key areas that you’ll always focus on: safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your operation.

This role requires working with multiple business and technical teams across the company to manage successful Under the roof (UTR) performance, drive continuous improvement and enhance carrier performance. The candidate must be effective in influencing leadership across customer service operations, technology teams, multiple support teams, carrier partners and senior leadership.

• Responsible for day‑to‑day management of the Last Mile Operation in the North Region, overseeing UTR delivery of Amazon orders.
• Setting and communicating performance goals, creating expectations and objectives to meet customer promise and ensure accuracy and quality.
• Leading a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers in daily station management, including meetings, training, job assignments, and communication with DSPs and their drivers.
• Maximizing productivity through training, analysis, and periodic feedback on performance data.
• Partnering with the AMZL Delivery Station On the Road (OTR) management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.
• Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
• Tactical leadership of strategic initiatives.
• Cross‑functional coordination and task tracking.
• Communicating across various areas to ensure alignment of goals and tasks, guaranteeing overall program success.
• Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and resolve problems.
• Managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Executing cross‑functional projects or large program components, including data gathering, manipulation, analysis, forward‑looking supply chain approaches, and communication of insights & recommendations.
• Reviewing the operational forecast and determining productivity requirements for sort operation, managing a team group to meet all building goals.
• Supporting all safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for associates and Delivery Service Providers.
• Supporting a team of On the Road (OTR) and Delivery Service Providers in weekly management of the last‑mile operation, including meetings, training, data analysis, metrics reviews, and communication with DSPs.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• English fluency (C1+).
• +2 years as a people manager.
• +5 years of general experience.
• +2 years as a site leader (≥1 year of performance metrics, process improvement or Lean techniques experience).
• Experience managing operations with a safety focus and employee satisfaction metrics/programs such as GPTW or internal measurements.
