Role
Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for Warehouse and Inventory Management of Chilled Finished Goods Storage operations. Manage the daily operations of assigned teams, assist Section Head in improving team productivity, efficiency and support business groups in identifying areas for improvement and drive key business metrics.
What you'll do
Daily Routine
- Ensure daily warehouse activities are performed as necessary.
- Monitor and analyze picking efficiency and accuracy of all storage room picking.
- Collaborate with Business Units-Finance on all system inventory related transactions and concerns (reconciliation, physical count, PID, etc…).
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all room transactions.
- Ensure short landed and overlanded are timely corrected.
- Ensure all reports needed are submitted on the agreed schedule.
- Monitor schedules of employees to ensure proper shift coverage.
- Plan, assign and direct work to the employees in cooperation with the section head to manage workload and projects.
- Monitor adherence to the company rules and regulations and implements disciplinary action in compliance with the requirement for due process.
- Respond timely and accurately to staff support escalations.
- Ensure the Service Level Agreements are on target.
Periodic Routine
- Anticipate customer requirements based on historical data and precedents.
- Perform staffing projection complementing work volume growth and make necessary proposals to business unit.
- Submit reports on metrics/KPIs/Dashboards to determine performance against the SLAs of the team base on the agreed schedule.
- Conduct team meetings to address issues and concerns, escalations, improve processes and others.
- Keep management informed and updated on matters affecting their team morale and performance.
- Monitor effectiveness of the development plan and supports employees in the application of learning to the job.
- Monitor team service level and assists in workload distribution.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree graduate; preferably an Engineering graduate or any related course
- With at least 4 years experience in Warehousing operations or Supply Chain
- Familiar and knowledgeable on SAP and MS Applications
- Has strong leadership skills and must have good communication skills, demonstrate personal integrity, customer oriented, team player and adaptable to change
- Ability to guide, mentor, motivate and coach team to achieve goals
